The world really is your oyster when you study Travel and Tourism with the Grimsby Institute. This vast and varied industry will open the door to all kinds of careers and could see you travelling the world. Generating £126.9 billion* a year in the UK alone, Tourism is essential to our economy and employs in excess of two million people. You’ll learn about all aspects of the industry including customer service, marketing, event planning and leisure and tourism. You may also get the chance to look at the work of resort reps, airline and cabin crew and cruise reps.

What Next?

UCAS points are available upon successful completion of level 3. If you do decide to carry on with your studies you could take a foundation degree at the University Centre Grimsby in Events Management, Sport and Recreation Management or Tourism Management then top up to a BA in Business Management. An apprenticeship could also be an option if you are thinking of going straight into work.
